ELLIOTT LEAVITT, Certified Gemologist, American Gem Society

Elliott started working with Swalstead Jewelers in 1974. He wears many hats; Gemologist, owner, advertising agent, jewelry designer, repairman, just about anything needing to be done to keep everything running smoothly. One of his favorite duties is appraisals, many done while customers wait and watch. He encourages everyone to come by and visit our Accredited Gem Laboratory.

BARBARA CHISM, PHD

Barbara has been with Swalstead Jewelers for 25 years. She is an excellent designer, manager and get it done person. It has been said "Behind every good man is a good woman." She exemplifies that. Her bead and pearl restring is the best that can be done. 

BRIAN HUNT, Certified Sales Associate, American Gem Society

Started with Elliott and Jack in January 2007.  Within his first year, he started courses with Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and has now acquired five GIA certificates and is on his way to being a Certified Gemologist.  He is also enrolled with American Gem Society (AGS) and is a Certified Sales Associate with AGS and taking courses to be a registered Jeweler of AGS.
